Covid-19 Vaccinations
Our vaccination programme
IHL has successfully been delivering the Covid vaccination programme, on behalf of the South Southwark PCN, since November 2020 with over 62,800 vaccinations delivered to our south Southwark population including housebound patients and care home residents.
One of our key successes was creating a large, multi-disciplinary team from all parts of health and the wider community, to deliver the Covid vaccination programme. Our team included midwives, professors, retired GPs, medical students, school nurses, St John’s ambulance staff, local healthcare staff and dentists. And the positive experience they had in the vaccination service has led to some staff joining our primary care team in South Southwark.
We have reached out to our local communities, providing information and having conversations about any concerns and issues. We provided pop-ups at Mosques, Peckham Square, Albrighton Community Centre, Supermarkets, markets, and the Tate Modern.

If you are a patient registered with a south Southwark GP please contact your GP practice for queries relating Covid vaccinations. We are currently offering a limited number of appointments from two sites.
