First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP)

First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP) are experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapists, who have a number of years’ experience working in MSK

You can be referred for an appointment directly by the practice reception team – the service is provided from three sites across South Southwark

Your FCP will take a detailed history of your condition, assess and aim to give diagnose your issue. The FCP and yourself will then come up with a plan moving forward, generally this is some rehabilitation exercises and advice on management of your condition

The FCPs work closely with staff in the practice and often liaise about conditions and work together if this is required for the management of your condition (e.g. prescriptions.)
